Talos Energy Inc. has awarded Faithful+Gould and Atkins the pre-final investment decision upstream facilities and shared project management team services contract for the Zama development project offshore Mexico.

HOUSTON – Talos Energy Inc. has awarded Faithful+Gould and Atkins, members of the SNC-Lavalin Group, the pre-final investment decision upstream facilities and shared project management team (PMT) services contract for the Zama development project offshore Mexico.
The Zama development is in block 7 of the Sureste basin in the Gulf of Mexico. It is estimated to hold up to 2 Bboe.
The companies are providing engineering oversight and design assurance services for the upstream facilities front-end engineering and design, as well as execution of the shared services functions for the overall project, including midstream and drilling aspects.
