GREAT YARMOUTH, UK – ODE Asset Management will serve as installation operator (Duty Holder) of the Premier Oil-operated Tolmount field gas platform in the UK southern North Sea.
The normally unmanned installation and the associated gas export pipeline comprise the Humber Gathering System (HGS), owned by Kellas Midstream company Humber Gathering System Ltd. and Tolmount partner Dana Petroleum.
Initially the HGS will deliver gas from the field to the Easington onshore gas terminal on the Lincolnshire coast.
The platform is under construction in Italy, with first gas planned for 4Q 2020.
ODE will be responsible for the safe operation of the platform and will provide operations, maintenance and integrity support services.
Presently it is collaborating with the Tolmount project team, providing operational input throughout the project execution phase, with full responsibility for operational readiness.
