MASSY, France — CGG and C-Questra have signed a commercial cooperation agreement covering carbon capture, utilization and sequestration (CCUS).
For more than 15 years, CGG has been supporting CCUS projects worldwide, its current offering ranging from reprocessing legacy subsurface datasets and initial screening of potential storage sites to planning and monitoring of CO2 injection operations.
C-Questra, formed in 2023, provides services from the emission sources to the sequestration sites. CGG will support the company speed up development of targeted carbon storage projects.
