Petrobras has contracted two Seadrill ultradeepwater drillships for long-term programs offshore Brazil.
The combined value of the contracts, both with a duration of 1,095 days, is about $1 billion.
West Tellus will operate at the Sépia and Atapu fields in the presalt Santos Basin. Activities are due to start in first-quarter 2026, with an optional period of up to 305 additional days.
West Jupiter also will start work in early 2026. This award represents a re-engagement by Petrobras.
