    Exxon extends Shelf jackup contract offshore Nigeria

    Shelf Drilling Ltd. has secured a one-year extension on the Trident XIV jackup rig in direct continuation of its current contract with ExxonMobil for workover operations offshore Nigeria.

    DUBAI, UAE– Shelf Drilling Ltd. has secured a one-year extension on the Trident XIVjackup rig in direct continuation of its current contract with ExxonMobil for workover operations offshore Nigeria.

    The expected availability of the rig is now February 2020. Furthermore, an option to extend the contract by a year exists.
