TRONDHEIM, Norway -- The harsh-environment semisubmersible Aker Barents has started drilling the deepwater Dalsnuten prospect for Norske Shell in the Norwegian Sea.
According to partner Det norske Oljeselskap, this is a large gas prospect around 370 km (230 mi) offshore western Norway, in a water depth of around 1,450 m (4,757 ft).
