STAVANGER, Norway –Exploration well 6603/5 in PL392 of the Norwegian Sea has come up dry says Norwegian Energy Co. The Dalsnuten prospect shows no reservoir rock at the well, drilled to TVD of 5,028 m (16,496 ft) and terminated in lower Cretaceous clastics.
The Aker Barents rig drilled the well in 1,446 m (4,744 ft) water depth for operator Norske Shell.
