Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, Scotland -- Venture Production Plc. and North Sea Gas Partners Ltd. have agreed on two North Sea transactions.
Venture will sell a 75% gross participation in its Ensign discovery to NSGP and also a farm-out on its Amanda appraisal and Agatha exploration wells.
Venture will hold directly a 25% stake in Ensign and an indirect 25% via its interest in NSGP. Venture also will remain as operator.
The Amanda and Agatha wells both are scheduled to be drilled in 2007 in block 49/11b by the Noble jackupJulie Robertson. NSGP will get 50% interest in return for carrying the cost of drilling both wells.
