(Asia-Pacific)- Keppel FELS Ltd. has delivered the jackup drilling rigENSCO 107 to ENSCO International one month ahead of schedule and within budget.
TheENSCO 107, a KFELS B Class design jackup, is the eighth jackup rig that Keppel Offshore & Marine group has completed for ENSCO since 1999. The company also boasts a clean safety record of zero loss time for its 2.5 million man-hours of work.
The contracts with ENSCO keep coming. Late last week, Keppel and ENSCO inked a deal for the construction of a $338 million semisub.
In addition, Keppel has two other rigs under construction for ENSCO, a KFELS jackup rig called theENSCO 108, and a cost-efficient ultra-deepwater semisub, the ENSCO 8500.
Deliveries for these newbuilds are expected in 1Q 2007 and 2008, respectively.

ENSCO is also scheduled to drill in waters off New Zealand during August-November 2007.
