OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) has approved two exploratory drilling campaigns.
OMV will drill wells 6506/11-11 S and 6506/11-11 A in 381 m (1,250 ft) water depth on license 644/644 B in the Norwegian Sea.
The semisubmersible Deepsea Bergen will start the campaign during the current quarter.
Equinor will drill well NO7324/6-1 in PL855 in the Barents Sea in 449 m (1,473 ft) of water, using the semisub West Hercules.
