Offshore staff
ASKER, Norway – Total (NYSE:TOT, Paris:FP FP) has started drilling an exploration well on the Garantiana prospect in the Norwegian North Sea.
According to partner Bridge Energy, the semisubmersibleBorgland Dolphin is drilling well 34/6-2S, 30 km (18.6 mi) northeast of the Statoil-operated Visund A platform.
Targets are stacked Jurassic/Triassic reservoirs. Other partners are Det norske oljeselskap and Svenska Petroleum.
