ABERDEEN, UK – Premier Oil has issued a letter of award to Awilco Drilling for 250 days of options on a rig contract announced in May 2012.
The total exercised option period will run through completion of the2014 drilling program or Oct. 31, 2014.
Maximum total value of the extra period, set to start early next March, could be $73 million.
