LIMASSOL, Cyprus– Songa Offshore has issued an update on its semisubmersible drilling fleet in northwest Europe.
Songa Trym was on a 75% suspension rate throughout December. Depending on weather conditions, however, the rig is expected to mobilize within the next week to resume drilling for Statoil.
Songa Dee, also working for the company in Norway, has been waiting for improved weather conditions to move to its next drilling location following completion of a Special Periodic Survey.
