CALGARY, Canada —Valeura Energy has completed an infill drilling campaign on the Nong Yao Field in the Gulf of Thailand.
Two horizontal wells were drilled at the location in the G11/48 license, encountering about 1,000 ft and 700 ft of net oil pay in their horizontal sections respectively, confirming findings from the pre-drill reservoir simulation.
Both wells are onstream as oil producers at a combined rate of about 1,350 bbl/d.
The Borr Mist drilling rig is now at the Manora oil field where Valeura plans to drill three wells aimed at increasing production from the field.
Assuming the program finishes as expected in early August, the rig will relocate to Valeura’s Wassana Field to drill five infill wells.
