Seadrill has issued an update on the contractual status of its offshore drilling rig fleet.

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill has issued an update on the contractual status of its offshore drilling rig fleet.
As of Sept. 30, the company’s backlog totaled $2.1 billion.
Recent assignments include:
The drillship West Gemini – a four-well contract plus options offshore Angola, with operations due to start shortly.
The drillship West Neptune – a 90-day contract for Talos Energy in the US Gulf of Mexico, due to start after the rig comes off its current LLOG contract.
The semisubmersible West Hercules – one well for Equinor offshore eastern Canada, due to start drilling next April, with the option of a further well for the same client offshore Norway.
The drillship West Tellus – Shell exercised options on the contract adding $18 million in revenue.
The semisubmersible Sevan Louisiana – a one firm-well contract for Eni in the US GOM, scheduled to start in late December and continue through May 2022.
The drillship West Neptune – more work for LLOG in the US GOM.
