Shelf jackup to drill for Mercuria offshore Congo

DUBAI, UAE – Shelf Drilling has provided an update on its jackup fleet.

Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Ltd. has awarded the Shelf Drilling Tenacious a one-year contract offshore Angola. The contract is expected to start in January 2022 and includes multiple option periods.

TotalEnergies Nigeria has awarded the Baltic a five-well contract, which commenced in June 2021. The estimated duration is 380 days plus additional optional periods.

Mercuria has awarded the Shelf Drilling Mentor a one-well contract offshore Congo. The contract is expected to start in January 2022. It includes optional wells.

Gempetco has awarded the Rig 141 a four-month extension offshore Egypt. The rig is now contracted until October 2021.

ONGC has awarded the J.T. Angel a three-year contract. It is expected to start in September 2021.

The Key Manhattan completed a suspension period and resumed operations with Eni offshore Italy in July 2021.

The High Island II completed a three-yearly contractual recertification project in May 2021.

The High Island VII completed a contract with ADNOC Drilling in July 2021 and was subsequently sold for non-drilling purposes.

The Compact Driller completed contract with ADNOC Drilling last month.

The Harvey H. Ward completed a contract with ONGC in May 2021.
