    Borr jackup to drill for Vestigo offshore Malaysia

    In October 2020, the Mist began its contract with Roc Oil in Malaysia. It is expected to finish in May 2021.

    HAMILTON, Bermuda – Borr Drilling has issued an update on its jackup drilling rig fleet.

    Vestigo has awarded the Idun a 10-well contract offshore Malaysia. The contract is expected to start in March 2021, with an estimated duration of 315 days.

    In Thailand, PTTEP issued a letter of award for a three-year contract for the Skald. It is expected to start in June 2021.

    Pemex has awarded a letter of intent (LOI) to the Integrated Well Services (IWS) joint venture for the Grid, Gersemi, and Galar as continuation of the current IWS contract. The contracts are for an estimated 300 days for the Grid and Gersemi, and 76 days for the Galar.
