LONDON – Tullow Oil expects drilling to start shortly on the Goliathberg-Voltzberg North prospect in block 47 offshore Suriname.

The company and its partners are also developing a prospect inventory on the Orinduik and Kanuku licences offshore neighboring Guyana.

Offshore Ghana, a drilling rig should start operations for the company during 2Q, with the first new production well on the Jubilee set to come online in 3Q.

A new oil offloading system currently being commissioned on Jubilee should be ready for a first lifting in February.
