OSLO, Norway – ConocoPhillips will drill the Slagugle prospect in the Norwegian Sea, following approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority.
Transocean’s semisubmersible Leiv Eiriksson will drill the well in 354 m (1,161 ft) of water in block 6507/5 in license PL891. The program should last around 47 days.
