IPC updates infill well campaign offshore Malaysia

VANCOUVER, Canada – International Petroleum Corp. has issued a progress report on the current third phase of infill drilling on the Bertam field offshore Peninsular Malaysia, which started in June.

So far two infill landing pilots have been completed with results in the A-15 area above expectations, but worse than anticipated in the A-14 area.

As a result, the company plans to drill the third infill well (A-20) in the A-15 area, and three further infill wells (A-18, A-19, A-20), while also working on new locations for potential drilling in 2020.
