Offshore staff
HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill Ltd. has secured a nine-well contract from an unnamed operator for the ultra-deepwater drillship West Gemini offshore West Africa.
The contract includes three options, each for two wells. Total value for the firm portion of the contract is expected to be about $84 million.
It is expected to start in early 4Q 2019 and run through 4Q 2020.
According to Seadrill’s latest fleet status report, the West Gemini was contracted to Eni offshore Angola from January 2018 to June 2019.
