Both fields, formerly operated by Faroe Petroleum (which DNO acquired last year), ceased production in August 2018 through 20 platform wells and a single subsea well.
Well-Safe expects to start offshore operations at the end of 2019, with the campaign continuing for around two years.
The company will be responsible for engineering contractor management and logistics with DNO retaining well operatorship.
Recently Well-Safe acquired its first semisubmersible drilling rig for P&A purposes, the Well-Safe Guardian.
