Petrobras offers more Brazil deepwater fields

Petrobras has put up for sale its interests in two deepwater post-salt concessions in the Espírito Santo basin offshore Brazil.

RIO DE JANEIROPetrobras has put up for sale its interests in two deepwater post-salt concessions in the Espírito Santo basin offshore Brazil.

The Golfinho Cluster, in water depths of 1,300-2,200 m (4,265-7,218 ft), comprising the producing Golfinho oil field and the non-associated gas producer Canapu, and the BM-ES-23 exploration block.

Output from the fields in 2018-2019 was 15,000 b/d of oil and 750,000 cu m/d of gas.

The Camarupim Cluster, in water depths of 100-1,050 m (328-3,445 ft), comprises the unitized fields Camarupim and Camarupim Norte, both non-associated gas. 

Petrobras has 100% stakes in both concessions, and a controlling 65% stake in the BM-ES-23 exploratory block, where the partners are PTTEP and Inpex.  

Offers can be submitted for one or both clusters.
