Murphy Oil Corp.'s board of directors has appointed Eric M. Hambly, Murphy’s current president and COO, to succeed Roger W. Jenkins as the company's president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Hambly also will become a member of the board of directors. Jenkins will retire from the board on Dec. 31, 2024. He will remain with Murphy in a non-executive role as an adviser until his retirement on Dec. 31, 2025. Read more.
geoLOGIC systems has named Satvinder Flore CEO and a board member. Former CEO David Hood, who remains a significant shareholder, has assumed the role of chair of the company’s board of directors.
Geoquip Marine has appointed Rune Olav Pedersen CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2025. He has spent the last 14 years at PGS and led its successful turnaround and merger with TGS. Pedersen will be based at Geoquip’s headquarters in Switzerland and takes over from outgoing CEO Richard Turner, who has accepted a role closer to his family in the UK. Read more.
