Aker Solutions has established a new manufacturing facility in South Korea to produce Pusnes deck machinery and also has won a contract to supply equipment to the Pieter Schelte.

LYSAKER, Norway – Aker Solutions has established a new manufacturing facility in South Korea to produce Pusnes deck machinery and also has won a contract to supply equipment to the Pieter Schelte.
The equipment contract for NOK 200 million ($33 million) is for anchor, mooring, and special winches onboard what will be the world’s largest platform installation, decommissioning, and pipelay vessel, according to Aker.
The new manufacturing plant is outside Busan, South Korea, and was make specifically to produce deck machinery.
