ABERDEEN, UK – The Xodus Group has won a front-end engineering and design study from GDF Suez E&P UK for Juliet field in the southern North Sea.
Xodus will include flow assurance, and operational, safety and environmental risk assessment to tieback Juliet to the Amethyst platform. Xodus also will do geotechnical assessment and produce the subsea systems operations and maintenance and pre-commissioning guidance notes.
Juliet is 40 km (25 mi) east of the Humber Estuary, and first gas is expected early in 2012.
