HOUSTON –Caesar Systems has released PetroVR 2012, 10.1. This version of the decision assurance software has 18 new capabilities and 601 enhancements, says the company.
Among the new additions for oil and gas field development is an analytic visual display that gives a view into data showing net present value, internal rate of return, and date of first production. Scenario Cross Plot is designed to make the relationships among key variables more transparent.
A new function named Smart Array Resizing is designed to preserve accuracy of the periodic values when the user changes a time span, such as from monthly to an annual report.
