HOUSTON– Cameron has won an OTC Spotlight Award for the Mark IV high-availability BOP control system.
The system features an industry-first three-point of distribution (POD) design option for subsea BOPs. The third POD provides added redundancy for improved operational availability of the drilling system to as much as 98%. Each POD’s simplified design improves reliability.
Cameron is exhibiting at booth 3317.
