Vibro Lifting Tool succeeds at Culzean pile installation

In its first commercial application, CAPE Holland’s Vibro Lifting Tool successfully installed four piles in a water depth of 90 m (285 ft) as part of the pre-piling project for the Culzean wellhead platform jacket.

BEILEN, the Netherlands – In its first commercial application, CAPE Holland’s Vibro Lifting Tool successfully installed four piles in a water depth of 90 m (285 ft) as part of the pre-piling project for the Culzean wellhead platform jacket. The jacket is expected to be installed next year.

The VLT was used as a stabbing tool to install all four piles in one sequence to stable depth through a template without any tool change.
