DALLAS– Kosmos Energy has completed acquisition of Deep Gulf Energy, a deepwater company operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
The acquisition includes Deep Gulf Energy LP, Deep Gulf Energy II, LLC, Deep Gulf Energy III, LLC, and related entities (collectively DGE).
By acquiring DGE, Kosmos said it adds to its deepwater Atlantic Margin portfolio an established business with attractive assets and a strong record of growing production and reserves through infrastructure-led exploration.
