BERGEN, Norway -- Kongsberg Gruppen has acquired Odfjell Consulting AS. Odfjell Consulting provides integrated rig and operations management technologies and consulting.
Odfjell Consulting will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Kongsberg Oil and Gas Technologies. The company will remain based in Bergen, Norway and share premises with Odfjell Drilling AS.
"The addition of Odfjell Consulting AS's technologies and consulting adds strategy and operations management expertise to KONGSBERG's products and services,” says Pål Helsing, President of Kongsberg Oil and Gas Technologies AS. “The combination will provide customers with complete services for their optimized upstream activities.
