Rockwell Automation has secured a £2.5 million ($4.3 million) contract with a major North Sea operator to supply control, emergency shutdown, and fire and gas systems to cover an additional module on a platform in the North Sea.

Since reinforcing its commitment to the UK oil and gas sector through the acquisition of automation businesses ICS Triplex and Silvertech, Rockwell Automation continues to develop its offerings through the PlantPAx process automation system, Allen Bradley, and ICS Triplex product lines.
