OSLO -- Aker Yards has changed its name to STX Europe. The name change comes after South Korean-based STX Business Group's purchase of a 92.46% ownership share in the company in August 2008.
Effective today, Aker Yards and all its subsidiaries will share the common brand STX Europe.
