DHAHRAN, Saudi Arabia — Aramco Ventures, the venture capital division of Aramco, has acquired a 7.4% stake in Aize Holding, which owns Oslo-based digital twin software developer Aize AS.
Aize software is designed to improve project execution and operations and maintenance efficiency, allowing users to search, visualize, navigate and collaborate on assets digitally.
Aramco and Aize are also considering deployment of the Aize digital twin service on certain Aramco assets and to formalize arrangements via a commercial agreement.
Earlier this year, Aize said it would continue to support five bp-operated North Sea oil and gas complexes, under an extension of the two companies’ partnership.
