HOUSTON — Port of Aberdeen has appointed Roddy James as its first CCO. James joins the Port having held a wide range of leadership positions within the energy and marine sectors for more than 20 years, including Utility ROV Services, N-Sea and Stork.
Wind industry service company FairWind has named Sisse Mai CFO and member of the executive management team. She will join the company no later than Feb. 1, 2023, reporting to CEO John Funch.

Ørsted has appointed Henriette Holm as its new country manager for Japan. Holm currently serves as Ørsted’s head of project development and programs in the UK and, according to Ørsted, has been instrumental in developing the Hornsea offshore wind projects. She will transition into her new role in November and will be based in Ørsted’s Tokyo office from Jan. 1, 2023.

A Robert Gordon University (RGU) engineering academic is the new lead for a network that helps the oil and gas industry deal with issues around sand. RGU’s Dr. Gbenga Oluyemi will spearhead the Sand Management Network after taking over from professor Iain Steel, who recently retired as head of engineering at the university.
