LONDON – Talisman Energy (UK) has awarded AMEC a five-year call-off contract to support its projects in the UK North Sea.
AMEC will provide brownfield engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services to support Talisman’s core northern business area and central business area, covering 42 fields.
Initially AMEC is working on verification of the front-end engineering design for the newMonarb bridge-linked platform brownfield scope and the upgrade of the existing Montrose Alpha platform. The aim is to maximize recovery from the Montrose field and extend production through 2030.
This project will involve about 200 onshore and offshore AMEC personnel at peak.
