Epsilon well starts up offshore Greece

LONDON– Energean Oil and Gas plc has brought the extended reach well EA-H3 into production at the Epsilon field offshore Greece.

It is producing at a stable dry oil rate of more than 1,000 b/d on a restricted choke.

TheEnergean Force drilled the well to a total measured depth of 5,679 m (18,632 ft) and has penetrated 689 m (2,260 ft) of the Epsilon sandstone reservoir, which was in line with pre-drill expectations.
