LONDON – Cameroon’s Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development is set to grant Tower Resources a one-year extension to the offshore Thali license.
Tower sought the extension to further plan for a well on the Njonji structure. Approval is conditional on finalization of a rig contract for the well within three months.
Work continues on the reserve report and selection of service contractors. Tower added that its internal G&G work is now virtually complete and is under review by Oilfield International.
In addition, Tower has retained Bedrock Drilling to provide well management and supervision services for the Njonji well.
