GSF Development Driller I secures 11-well contract offshore Australia

STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland – Chevron Australia has awarded Transocean Ltd.’s ultra-deepwater semisubmersible GSF Development Driller I an 11-well contract (about 955 days).
The contract is expected to begin in the first half of 2019.
The estimated firm contract backlog, excluding integrated services, is approximately $158 million. Additionally, the contract includes four one-well options.
