GODALMING, UK – The newly-fabricated buoy for Hurricane Energy’s Lancaster field early production system west of Shetland has departed Drydocks World in Dubai, following testing and final inspection.
It will form part of the turret mooring system for the FPSOAoka Mizu.
Assuming arrival of the buoy at the field location by the end of June, the turret mooring installation should be completed by the end of September.
Other system components - piles, chains and wires - have already been delivered.
