    Avalon partners offshore Ireland apply for frontier license

    The Total-led partnership in licensing option 16/27 in the southern Porcupine basin offshore southwest Ireland has applied to convert the LO to a frontier exploration license.

    DUBLIN, Ireland – The Total-led partnership in licensing option (LO) 16/27 in the southern Porcupine basin offshore southwest Ireland has applied to convert the LO to a frontier exploration license.

    According to partner Providence Resources, the license includes the undrilled PalaeoceneAvalon exploration prospect.

    Ireland’s Minister of State at the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment will consider the application.
