Statoil has commissioned DeepOcean to undertake marine operations for the Snorre Expansion project in the Norwegian North Sea.

HAUGESUND, Norway– Statoil has commissioned DeepOcean to undertake marine operations for the Snorre Expansion project in the Norwegian North Sea.
The scope comprises project management, engineering, procurement of anchors for risers and umbilicals and offshore installation activities.
In the latter case, DeepOcean will be responsible for installation of six integrated subsea template structures and manifolds, and of riser systems and umbilical systems on the Snorre A production platform.
The project team will be based at the company’s offices in Haugesund and Stavanger, with the construction vesselEdda Freya managing the offshore program during 2019 and 2020.
