Offshore staff
BUCHAREST, Romania – Black Sea Oil & Gas SRL (BSOG) and its co-venturers have awarded Xodus Group the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the offshore and onshore facilities of the Ana and Doina gas discoveries on the XV Midia Shallow block offshore Romania.

The offshore FEED services to be provided include engineering and design for the Midia gas development which consists of:
- Wellhead platform at Ana (water depth of around 69.5 m/228 ft), receiving and supporting production from a subsea tieback from the Doina subsea well controlled through umbilical
- In-field pipeline from the Doina subsea well to the Ana wellhead platform (around 18 km/11 mi) and offshore export pipeline from the Ana wellhead platform to shore (around 121 km/75 mi).
The group will also be responsible for the onshore pipeline to the gas treatment plant and also the gas treatment plant itself.
Romanian independent BSOG is wholly owned byCarlyle International Energy Partners. The company’s current portfolio is made up of XV Midia Shallow block and XIII Pelican block concession in the Romanian Black Sea, where it is the operator and holds a 65% interest. These blocks are said to cover almost 4,200 sq km (1,621 sq mi) on the Romanian continental shelf.
In June,Dolphin Geophysical completed a 3D seismic survey.
