ST Engineering has received a contract from an unnamed oil and gas company to design and construct a walk-to-work vessel.
This will provide safe transfers of personnel and equipment to the client’s offshore installations.
The 97-m-long vessel, with accommodation for 106 people, will feature a motion-compensated gangway operable in variable sea conditions, and a 10-ton crane with active heave compensation for load handling in rough seas.
