The Sea Challenger is a DP2 offshore installation vessel.
Seatrium has secured contracts for refits of two jackups and two drillships from Velesto Energy, Zonda Drilling and Seadrill.
Other new awards include repair and maintenance work for the heavy-lift pipelay vessel Sapura 1200 from Sapura Energy and a life-extension upgrade of the DP2 jackup installation vessel Sea Challenger from Japan Offshore Marine Co., a joint venture between Penta Ocean Construction and DEME.
Fabrication works are underway to prepare the vessel for a retrofit in 2025.
