    GTT designing Cedar LNG tanks

    Samsung Heavy Industries has commissioned GTT to design the tanks for a new FLNG vessel on behalf of shipowner Cedar LNG.

    Samsung Heavy Industries has commissioned GTT to design the tanks for a new FLNG vessel on behalf of shipowner Cedar LNG.

    The tanks will provide an overall capacity of 180,000 cu. m, and it will incorporate GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system.

    The vessel is due to be delivered in first-quarter 2028. It is due to be located 8.5 km southwest of Kitimat in British Columbia, western Canada.
