SINGAPORE — MODEC subsidiary Offshore Frontier Solutions has awarded Seatrium a topsides integration contract for the FPSO Errea Wittu, which will serve Exxon Mobil’s Uaru Field development in the Starbroek Block offshore Guyana.
The work scope covers installation and integration of topside modules as well as completion and commissioning support for MODEC.
Errea Wittu, to be stationed 200 km offshore Guyana, will have an oil production capacity of 250,000 bbl/d, water injection capacity of 350,000 bbl/d, 540 MMcf/d gas production capability and oil storage capacity of 2 MMbbl.
Seatrium first worked with MODEC on the FPSO conversion Whakaaropai in 1996. The company is currently performing integration work for the FPSO for Equinor’s Bacalhau Field development in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.
BrasFELS, Seatrium’s yard in Angra dos Reis, Brazil, is providing topside modules fabrication for the FPSO Raia.
