SINGAPORE – KrisEnergy has entered a cooperation agreement with Keppel FELS and Keppel Shipyard.
The two Keppel Corp. subsidiaries would be the company’s preferred contractor for the following duties:
Newbuilding, repair, conversion and upgrading of various marine assets and/or vessels and the use of Keppel’s yard and associated yard services for the construction and refurbishment of facilities. These could include mobile offshore production units (MOPUs), mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs), production barges, FPSOs and FSOs
Lease, chartering and provision of Keppel’s marine assets and/or vessels, including the drilling and production systems, floating cranes, barges and tugs.
KrisEnergy, which is working on development projectsoffshore Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia, said the arrangement would provide access to Keppel’s experience, facilities, and equipment at a competitive price.
