The vessel will operate on the field for a fixed seven-year term with options to extend by up to 18 years of options.
Keppel Shipyard’s work scope includes installation and integration of topsides modules. The floater, namedBW Catcher, is scheduled for sail-away in the next few months and should deliver first oil later this year.
TheBW Catcher has an oil storage capacity of 650,000 bbl and a processing capacity of 60,000 b/d. It has a design life of 20 years without dry docking and will be moored using a submerged turret production system in 90 m (295 ft) of water.
