Ceona secures Normand Pacific to work in Oyo oil field offshore Nigeria with CAMAC Energy

Ceona has been awarded a contract for work in the Oyo oil field offshore Nigeria from CAMAC Energy Inc. Offshore work is to begin in July using the DP-3 offshore construction vessel Normand Pacific.

LONDON –Ceonahas been awarded a contract for work in the Oyo oil field offshore Nigeria from CAMAC Energy Inc. (NYSE MKT: CAK). The Oyo Phase 1 expansion project consists of the installation and recovery of umbilical and flexible pipe, as well as light subsea construction, in up to water depths of 500 m (1,641 ft). 

Ceona will perform project management, while local offshore support and engineering work will be delivered in partnership with its local partner, Marine Platforms Ltd. in Lagos, Nigeria.

Offshore work is to begin in July using the DP-3 offshore construction vesselNormand Pacific. Ceona has chartered the vessel from Solstad Offshore since April for one year, with an option of extension.
